Summer Shenanakins, Wednesday 7/6/22

The park was space themed today (thanks for the help, squirrels). For a given and confusing value of “space themed.” There was a space-themed inflatable obstacle course. There were star and planet decorations hung up everywhere (who had hung them up? Possibly squirrels). There were little toy spaceships. There was a large inflatable pool full of very dark and glittery jello.

The only thing missing today was Anakin. In his place was Stark, looking a bit lost even though he’d somehow planned all of this. Actually, the megaphone was missing as well. Stark was just going to yell instead.

“Anakin isn’t here but he wanted me to do this. I don’t know why. I don’t know why he does anything.” Did anyone truly understand Anakin’s motivations?

“We have 4 different activities today. An obstacle course. Stomp rockets. Planetary rings. And…jello.” Everyone, be sure to thank Summer for activity number 4!

“Listen for your names, collect your shirts, and…enjoy? Oh. And no powers.” That was cheating!

Dwight was relieved when his name wasn't called and decided to stick around for a bit and watch the fun. He could use the break and time out of the shop anyway.

Since Triumph had definitely come in handy last week, Graham was definitely making sure to bring him along to the park today....not that he wouldn't have otherwise, of course, because strolling into the park every Wednesday was now just one of the things that they did, but he was going to definitely keep the dramatic entrances down to a mild appearance today....and he was definitely doing his best to avoid any trees.
