"Welcome back to another week of team-building!" Anakin yelled through his megaphone. "Today you will be in four teams of seven and you will be fishing with your toes for valuable prizes!"

They weren't that valuable, folks.

He gestured at the four inflatable pools located around the park with folding chairs circling them. "Working together, you have to pull 21 smallish objects from the water--" and be grateful that it's just water, "--using only your toes. And no powers. The fastest team to accomplish this wins. Listen for your name, come get your shirt and take off your shoes!"

There are 21 different, moddable, objects in each pool of various sizes and textures--but it definitely includes two live, actual goldfish in each pool. There are coins, rocks, weirdly squishy things, etc., etc. Everyone can grab three!

And the RNG says the order goes:

The water was a little cold, but honestly this was a joy compared to some of the other stuff she had done last summer.

Beaker wandered over to his pool, hopped up on the chair, and then noticed that his feet came nowhere near the water.

Awwww! This was it! This was the thing! The specific summer shenanigan that would forever be Summer's favorite because it was back when she herself was standing in one of those pools next to Barry and thought to herself I have got to get to know that jawline.

So of course she was taking a million pictures and sending them to him with an obnoxious amount of heart emoji, and she almost thought about teasing him about getting him one of those shirts, but that man would legit actually wear that shit out in public, and no.

And, since her name wasn't called, she just sat back to enjoy and take note of who had earned free shots and maybe try to spot some other future blossoming romances all thanks to the fish catching pools.

Okay, this shirt might actually make Sakaki cry due to ugliness this time, but, thankfully, she was less prone to emotional outbursts this week.

She was mostly thinking it was a shame it definitely would not fit Sidon because she was pretty sure he'd love it, and she wondered if he'd be offended if she used it to line some cages after this.

Rey had been feeling better by the time she got to the park. And then there was an ugly Christmas sweater and she had to fish with her feet.

Sakaki closed her eyes tight to avoid letting out a shriek of surprise at the temperature of the water, then let out a slow breath to get over it. She could do this, it didn't sound that bad...

Tell that to the urge to jolt her foot out of the water with a shout of surprise any time one of those goldfish even came close to her feet.

And then she started to worry.

"Everyone!" she all but pleaded. "Please be careful of the goldfish!"

She would definitely be too concerned about their well-being to be any good at this.
