Rory stumbled in just before first period and opened the library.

[And then her player went to class. Back around 4 EST for interaction]

Parker processed that, then rolled her eyes. "Who's Ponytail Boy kissing?"

[back in a few hours, sorry, called away]

"Well, this is a kiss-and-make-up kind of deal..." Rory said, shooting Parker a sly look.

Blinking, Parker said, "Okay. That'll burn my retinas right out." She snickered. "How did Call talk the opposite party into this? Same tactics?"

"Similar, though not identical," Rory said. "It'll be public, too."

"Of course it will." Parker shook her head. "I have to admit, as deterrents for future occurrences? That rates pretty high."

"Uh huh." Rory grinned. "We want to make sure they don't do it again. Stupid boys."

Parker nodded carefully, thinking of what Master Kenobi had said, about people with powers losing their tempers. Oh yes. Good idea to avoid that in the future. "How is the rest of Master Kenobi's visit going, by the way? Does he have any... concerns?"

"Doesn't seem to," Rory said quietly. "We got through dinner last night okay. I'm learning fun stories, but so far, we're good."

She rolled her eyes. "Logan didn't help, of course. But otherwise, we're fine."

"At least he didn't outright accuse Anakin of anything he could know about." Parker made a face. "How long is Master Kenobi staying? A week? I hope?"

"He's leaving tomorrow evening, I believe," Rory said, smiling. "Unless he sticks around to go to Prom with Jaye...."

"That'd be one for the yearbook. Damn. I won't get to see him again, then." Parker's mouth turned down in a most depressed pout.

"You aren't going to the lightsaber thingy?"

"I'd love to, seriously. But no. Jarod and I-- we're going camping, starting tonight. I may not be back until late Sunday."

Parker's not blushing. You're imagining it.

Rory raised an eyebrow.

"Dirty?"

Parker grinned, despite the blush. "Hopefully only in the metaphorical sense. I'm not into getting that close to dirt in nature."

"You'll have to let me know. But, um, not in detail." Rory made a face. "And I'll take pictures of the fight, okay? It'll distract me from fretting and chewing off my fingernails."

"I'll give you the vague and blurry details after I get back. And definitely get photos! I can't see either of them getting seriously hurt, you know." Parker paused. "Okay, I can't see Master Kenobi getting seriously hurt, and I doubt he'd do much damage to Anakin."

"They're not going to get hurt," Rory said, sighing. "I know that, logically. But still. Going to be kind of scary to watch, 'cause accidents happen and all."

"Okay, that's fair." Parker shook her head. "But still cool. That pen-duel during class was hysterical. And neither of them were even trying, for that."

"Yeah, it's like the glitter," Rory grinned. "Anakin's getting better, too - he can lift pretty heavy stuff and keep it in the air without having to concentrate."

Blushing? What? Where? No blushing here. Move along.

Parker blinked at Rory, considered face-palming at the implications, and then nodded carefully. "Uh-hunh. Anyway. Wish Anakin luck for me. If you need to reach me for anything-- and I can't imagine you will-- I'll have my cell with me. I'll check the voicemail. Maybe."

"Will do. And no, I can't imagine why I'd need to call you, but I'll keep it in mind." Rory made a face. "I'll mention it when I see him in detention tomorrow. Fun, fun, fun."

Parker blinked. "You have detention too? What for? And who with, do you know? It isn't always awful."

"Being snarky about Skeeter." Rory shrugged. "I don't know who the teacher is, sadly."

"Hell, we should all have detention for that. Of course, I should've had detention way more often than I have for much more serious things... and so should Janet... and Sam... and... Uh." Parker made a sympathetic face. "Damn. Sorry?"
