Rory stumbled in just before first period and opened the library.

[And then her player went to class. Back around 4 EST for interaction]

"Gifties!," Angela said, enthusiastically.

She grinned at the CD, and her smile got bigger at the book. "See, if I had just had this eight months ago..." But when she opened the necklace and the note, her eyes got misty.

She gave Rory an impulsive hug. "It's beautiful. Thank you."

"You're totally welcome," Rory said, returning the hug with a smile. "Happy seventeenth." She made a face. "I feel so old, for some reason."

"Why, because you've been seventeen for six whole months?" Angela asked. "Though ... yeah, I guess I feel kind of old too. We can see R rated movies ad in a month we'll be seniors."

"I used to believe high school would kind of never end."

"And I used to think it couldn't end soon enough," Rory sighed. "But I'm all sad just thinking about summer."

She sighed, and shook her head. "But worrying is dumb, because it's still a ways off, and it's yay birthday and not emo time right now."

"Ohhh," Angela said. "Are some of the seniors leaving right after graduation? Because that will suck."

She shrugged. "But yeah, yay birthday. The party should be killer." She frowned. "I still need to get gifts for everyone else."

"We've got you, Isabel, Peter, Aeryn, and Anakin - am I missing anyone?" Rory asked thoughtfully. "I've got ideas, at least, for almost everyone."

"Archie Kennedy," Angela supplied. "Or, at least, that's what Parker said."

"What are you getting Aeryn? I've talked to her, like, twice."

"Ooh, Archie," Rory said thoughtfully. "I'll have to get him something fun."

She grinned. "I think I'm going to make Aeryn a photo album with all of John's animal transformations for part of it."

"Yeah, I have a few thoughts on what to get for Archie," Angela said. "And I love that idea for Aeryn."

She tilted her head to one side. "Has Crichton turned into anything lately?"

"Nope," Rory said sadly. "Well, he was a wee little tiny zebra. And before that, something called a pangolin. But he hasn't been anything this week. It's weird."

"You can relive it with the pictures," Angela said. She pouted. "I still haven't been turned into anything, or gotten bit by a gremlin, or posessed, or anything. My life is so dull."
