Detention, April 8th, 9:00 AM

The Danger Shop was set up like a very large childcare center today with The Tick standing in the middle of the room. "Hello, students!" he said when the students entered the shop. "Come over here and sit in a circle!"

He passed around the sign-in sheet, with the following names on it:

Angel
Callisto
Samantha Carter
John Crichton
Alphonse Elric

"Today, you'll be learning about responsibility in one of the most trying ways there is. Today, you'll be watching children! The kids themselves are just Danger Shop holograms, so they can't actually be hurt or anything, but you should still treat them as you would a real child. You're responsible for their fake well-being and you shouldn't expect me to bail you out if you have trouble. Please remember, they outnumber you. The simulation will end at 5:00 PM FHT. Okay, bring on the kids!"

Another list appeared. This list was of the children who would be here today.

[OOC: In the shop is pretty much everything you might need in a typical childcare facility. Toys, books, bits of electronic that could be fashioned into a laser gun laying around in some drawers... The usual. You can leave as early as 5:00 EST, but feel free to play past that if you're having fun.

The activities listed are guidelines the students should work toward. The children... well, they'll do what they'll do. Hopefully it'll all go together smoothly and we won't have someone fingerpainting during naptime. Right. Becuase what we want is for this to be easy. Sure.

That all said, this will be very hands off for me. Jump in, play, and try not to kill each other.

Help the children make some art! With their fingers! That'll go well! Also, make sure their hands are clean afterwards.

Stewie spent the first part of fingerpainting time making a picture of Lois. Strapped to an electric chair. Stewie felt he captured her pain brilliantly.

Angel noticed what Stewie was drawing. "Hey, little guy, that's not what you should be doing with those paints."

Stewie turned his abnormally large head towards Angel. "Is that what you think?" he said "Well, I guess I shouldn't be doing this either!"

He stuck his hands in red paint and put it all over his face and head. "Now clean me!" he commanded.

Angel was remarkably unfazed. He pulled a hankerchef out of his pants pocket and started to try wiping Stewie down. "See, if I wanted to torture somebody I'd go with knives. Electricity's boring."

Mindy toddles over to the fingerpainting table and begins to fingerpaint a picture of a Butter Lettuce Baby doll on top of a bookshelf.

"Dolly!"

Mindy, her hands and arms (and nose) covered in various shades of paint makes a grab for whatever part of Callisto is within reach.

Arm, leg, torso... head.

"Yes okay I love you!"

Clingly little rug rat isn't she?

"Eep!" The now multi-coloured Callisto peeled Mindy off her and held her at arms length.

"Mike?" Sam asked, reaching for Boo and a piece of paper, "Want to fingerpaint?"

"Mike Wazowski," she said and grabbed the green paint. She stuck all of her fingers into the container and made a green blob in the middle of the paper.

'Mike' added some straight lines for arms and legs and then stuck her other hand in the blue paint. She added a blue blob to the middle of the green blob and then held it up for Sam to see, not caring that she got hand prints all over the paper. "Mike Wazowski."

To Sam, it kind of looked like a star going nova. "That's very pretty. You must have done this before."

Some of the paint dripped off the paper and onto Sam's pants and the floor. "Oops. Stay here while I get some paper towels, okay?"

John fingerpaints. Sullenly. Umberto chatters and John mourns the destruction of his pants.

Something wet and slimey closes around John's ankle.

The something is a little girl's hand covered in paint. John may not figure that out right away.

"What the hell?" John jerks away from the table and looks down. "Oh man. C'mon. C'mon, little girl. Let's come up here and paint on paper!"

"Okay Hello I love you!" Mindy chimed as she climbed up on John's lap.

She seems to be missing her pants. She's just wearing her little pink t-shirt and Loony-Toons printed pull-ups.

And there may be a building-high giant cat peeking in the window that I just modded.

Billy bounced over to start fingerpainting. Within moments he had paint on his nose and was leaving noseprints everywhere.
