Hopefully the class prepares for the most intense art class they could possibly get at this school.

"New digs. Not too sure about the layouts, but hot damn look at that lack of Russia."

"Alright, I think that's all of you," he said glancing toward the back in case there were stragglers. "And if it's not... No one cares."

Yeah, what could you do?

"Okay, so you're here to learn shit and that's on you. I'm here for a paycheck and the satisfaction that comes from molding young minds and we're both going to leave disappointed," he continued. "My name is Mr. Deadpool. And I'm not going to remember any of yours unless they're funny. So, you know what? Impress me. Make up a name."

It would make keeping track of students impossible. Good thing he didn't do that.

"Oh, and I found some construction paper and glue to go with the fucking bucket of glitter I stole from the supply closet. Make something that represents your inner self." He held up a glitter and glue drawing of a burning house. "This is mine and I'll sue your ass if you plagiarize it."

Peridot wasn't entirely certain what to make of the glitter-and-paper combination, exactly. So she just took a handful of the sparkly stuff and threw it on herself.

There! Art?

Whatever Art was. Art was such a stupid word.

Peridot stood up, covered in glitter. She was the art, see?

Presumably?

She really didn't get the point of all of this.

"I'm Peridot."

... Ta-daa.

It probably went without saying that Alluka got glitter everywhere, including all over her bunny, by the time her picture was done.

What the picture was of... well, that was a hard call.

There were definitely eyes, two sets of them, and a smile, and something that looked like ears. The predominant colours of construction paper used were pink and black. And there was glitter all over it.

It sparkled. That was close enough to pretty, right?

Alluka held up her art somewhat diffidently. She had no idea what anyone else would think of it.

(She had no idea what she thought of it, really.)

"I'm... I'm...," right she had to make up a name, "Sunshine."

Papa Jono called her that. It was close enough to a fake name for her.

"I don't know,' Deadpool said slowly. "It's not very Pinterest looking."

"What is that glitter abomination, Twilight Sparkle?" He said it cheerfully, so it was certainly possible he approved.

Mostly because she was going to get that shit everywhere taking it home.

She really was! It was going to be terrible!

But also great. Alluka was no stranger to glitter.

"Um, it's me, I guess?" Honesty compelled her to add, "And my sister."

Summer Smith

"Well, we'll work on that." No they wouldn't.

Summer was really planning on phoning it in for this one, especially since she was preinclined to regard this as easily her dumbest class out of a real star line up of dumb ass classes, and what the fuck was with this guy, anyway? Clearly, he felt the same way. She couldn't help thinking that maybe this was some sort of community service requirement for him or something.

Whatever. Arts and crafts was dumb.

So could someone explain why Summer wound up getting waaaaay too into creating a shit-ton of flowers out of different colored papers and meticulously covering them in pretty glitter so that she could help contribute to her rainbow of flowers idea that she had proposed to her roommate? Could it actually be that she *GASP!* was actually enjoying it and really liked making pretty things with glitter and construction paper and maybe arts and crafts wasn't really dumb at all?

Yeah, whatever.

In fact, considering her history, she'd rather weird dudes in tight red spandex didn't remember her name, ever, because they were usually a lot of trouble and really, really weird. "And I made these flowers because I thought they'd make my room look bomb as fuck. Also, I just like flowers, because I, you know, have a soul."

Not liking flowers had to be right up there with not liking kittens.

Khadgar

On one hand, Khadgar knew Deadpool probably wouldn't care if they tried really hard or not. On the other hand, he couldn't not put in effort, it just wasn't in him. Oh, it was going to be a long class.

"My name is Khadgar," he said, since that was already weird enough compared to some people. He held up his picture, which was purple and blue swirls of glitter. "I'm a mage, so this represents what my magic feels like."

"Are you suggesting I should have used more pins?"

No, Peridot. No, that would be a bad idea.

"Yes, exactly. You're a smart kid."

Why. Why did he do this?

"I like the cut of your jib, Santeria," Deadpool decided. "Are you sure about the soul thing, because... teenage girls. I've seen Pretty Little Liars. I know you've probably killed a man."

He had never seen that show.

"Kathy!" Still not the right name. "Awww, look at those swirls."
