Yeah, those were finger quotes in there too.

"But now that we've established team loyalty, it's time to get you lazy asses walking to hatch some goddamn eggs for me. And you, I guess. If you've found any. But I really don't care about that."

He really, really didn't. It's what made him so believable as a teacher.

"So, lesson one: walk like you're being forced to. I love when games trick your pasty assessment into fitness." That was rude, not everyone was pasty. "We're gonna walk around town. And none of that bullshit anime running on rooftops. It only counts under a certain speed limit which really cut into my playing and driving time. You hit one elderly person while catching a Pikachu and suddenly you're the monster," he said, throwing his hands into the air in disgust. "Let's get moving. I hear there's a new latte at the coffee shop. Guaranteed to cause some diabetes..."

If that didn't get you moving, nothing would.

Okay! Peridot had a phone! Peridot had even acquired 'app.'

Now Peridot was... walking. She wasn't sure what 'walking' was supposed to do, or what the circular things on the screen were all about, but they did a fun twirly thing if she dragged her finger over them, so... that was a start.

Someone was probably going to have to show her how to incubate those eggs she was collecting. Stupid things weren't going to hatch themselves, here.

He strolled around an island block, frowning at his phone screen. His eggs weren't anywhere near hatching, and the exercise would be much less boring if he was seeing anything to collect besides rats and pigeons.

There were worse things to do with a class than walk around for an hour. It wasn't like walking was a strenuous activity, even if there was nothing particularly interesting to catch.

... Rufus was probably going to end up at the Perk at some point, why yes.

It turned out the iDream could, in fact, host Pokemon Go, but the app kept crashing. It was okay, though. Blue had a plan. She couldn't put her plan into motion until she got back to Henrietta, though, so today she just walked. She walked right into the Perk and ordered a mocha.
