Library, Sunday
After yet another terribly stressful week of no classes, Face was reading behind his desk. With his eyes closed. And the book over his face.
Yes. Reading.
Yes. Reading.

Re: Talk to Face
Or it could have been a muffled snore.
Re: Talk to Face
Even if he was utterly shirking his duties again.
So she walked towards him with what amounted to stealth for her.
Re: Talk to Face
Probably not a greeting then.
Re: Talk to Face
She even managed to hold this thought - the 'Garik is adorable' one - for thirty seconds before the 'he's shirking his duties' part set in and she thumbed her hand (sort of gently) against the desk.
Re: Talk to Face
"Hey, Cass," he said, as if he hadn't just been napping.
Re: Talk to Face
Until she realized she was smiling and attempted to get it under control. "I hope you are reinvigorated."

Cassandra groaned good-naturedly. "I doubt that is it," she said. "When did you start your nap?"
Re: Talk to Face
"After I did the reshelving." So there had been some work involved today.

She reached out to poke him in the nose. Playfully, in a stiff, Cassandra-esque way.
Re: Talk to Face
Yes, because he was.

Yeah, she knew that wasn't what he was talking about.

She leaned over the desk, slightly more carefully than she might have had last semester. "But you are not talking about lunch."

She encroached a few more inches, then stayed there, not far from Garik's face.

Re: Talk to Face
Though 'terrible' was all she needed to forget about her nerves long enough to kiss him, at least.
Re: Talk to Face
Not that he'd ever admit it, because he only played the fool.
Re: Talk to Face
At least, that was the defense Cassandra would give for the way she put herself into the kiss and dragged it out.

Re: Talk to Face
Cassandra broke it eventually, but only so she could slide around the desk and try to make her way into his lap.
Re: Talk to Face
It helped that there needed to be very little thinking involved.
Re: Talk to Face
Like the parts that wanted to slide her arms around him and kiss him again, threat of librarian be damned.
Re: Talk to Face
Not that Face was thinking about Constantine when he had a lapful of girl and there was kissing involved.
Re: Talk to Face
Her mouth from his, anyway.

Re: Talk to Face
Well.
She snagged his hand and tugged him away from his chair.
