Wednesday 3/15, Library is Open

Zero opened up the library, as usual, and settled in behind the desk to be available for all the student body's libraryish needs. Which frequently seemed to consist of gossiping and bringing the aides pastry, but hey, she wasn't complaining.

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

Marty still seems to be inarticulate on the subject.

"Pictures! Angel! Gift Thingy! You!"

There might be some flailing involved.

"Gah!"

"There were lots of pictures!" And okay, she'd made especially sure to get the butler-hug in there. "Lots and lots of pictures! I didn't look at them all! And I don't know why you're flailing, it's not even fake!"

Marty scowled. "And if there were pictures of you dressed as a scuzzy hippie hugging a butler, you wouldn't have issues?"

Parker would completely have issues, but she's not about to say so. "It was for a good cause, we thought he was dying! You're just mad someone saw you in something other than a suit."

Marty sulks. "Stupid pictures."

Parker eyed him warily, then couldn't help verbally poking at him. "I told Angel you and Blair should take that act on the road. With Angela singing back-up."

Marty then began to mumble. If you listened closely you would probably hear the words, "Vampire", "Stupid", "Dying", and "Hair gel".

Parker started chortling. She hadn't gotten in any good torment today yet, but this was doing just fine. "Hair Brain is stupid, he is a vampire, but he *was* dying. I felt that someone had to take one for the team. So to speak. Besides, wouldn't you want to know I alreday said that to him?"

Marty glared at Parker. "Shouldn't you be off kissing Jarod?"

Torment was a two way street after all.

From zero to blush in 0.3 seconds. "No."

Yeah, really convincing.

"Shut up!"

Less so.

"So what's next with you two love birds?" Marty asked fluttering his eyes and putting a dopey lovestruck expression on his face. "Holding hands? Long walks on the beach? Love sonnets regarding .45 ammunition, shoes and sunglasses?"

"Ugh, poetry. No way in hell." Parker folded her arms and glared, blushing even harder. "One stupid kiss. That's all. Get over it, Blank."

"That's a pretty shade of red you have going there, Parker," Marty commented. "I didn't think that was possible with 'one stupid kiss'."

"It was only one kiss. One. Singular. And none of yours or anyone else's damn business!"

Marty might be singing under his breath right now.

Something about Jarod. Parker. Sitting in a tree. Doing the one singular thing Parker might have mentioned.

Then there's something about an emotion... a ceremony followed by something in a carriage.

Parker is jumping up and down. Quietly. So as not to attract the attention of the Library, and the Library Aide who sadly would be possessed and forced to knee-cap her. "Shut up shut up shut up shut up.... Angela and Marty--" Oh, it's not even worth it. Parker put her hands over her ears and started to hum Copacabana. Damn Angel for that anyway.

"NO YELLING IN THE LIBRARY!!"

Marty sulked like a little kid and pointed at Parker. "She made me do it."

"Did not!" Parker hissed, keeping her voice down.

"Did too!" Marty hissed back.

"Not!"

"Did!"

"Quintuple NOT!" Parker cut a look at Zero to make sure she wasn't about to bring out the mallet.

"Did times infinity!" Marty hissed under his breath.

He too was wary of the mallet.

"NOT to the power of infinity!" Parker snarled very softly. "Ha!"
