Library, 3/14

Angela spends much of her day in the library flipping through something called The Complete Idiot's Guide to Psychic Phenomena and testing herself with the quizzes at the back.

She looks kind of cranky at the results she's getting.

In any case, she's there to help with all your library-type needs.

Zero stumbles in, jet-lagged as all get-out and carrying a tall frosty milkshake. However, despite the exhaustion, she had a big stupid grin that just wouldn't quit. "Mmfrgle." That was probably supposed to be 'good morning.'

"Morning," Angela said, quirking her eyebrows. "So ... how was jail?"

"Not really," Angela admitted. "Did you overhear any interesting conspiracy theories? I saw this book whilewe were in England about this guy who thinks most politicians are evil reptiles from another planet. Literally."

"And I'm glad you're back, anyhow."

"Something about farting aliens from Raxifraximon or summat takin' over the British government an' blowin' up Downing Street. Maybe he wrote that book you saw. Also, a lot about invisible people recording everything for secret government agencies. Mum thought that was quite funny, 'specially after I told her I was invisible for a bit there.

Parker came in after second, just to help out for a while. She's moderately annoyed that she left her play script in the park with Jarod.

"They're used to test for psychic abilities, aren't they? Telepathy, precognition...." Sydney had used them on some of the twins at the Centre. "Why do you ask?"

"The book I'm reading," Angela answered. "I'm thinking I should get some to work on my psychic stuff. Which is probably stupid, but it can't hurt, right?"

She shoved the book to the side. "So how are things?"

After talking to Veronica, Marty swings by J,GOB's and picks up an array of baked goods, coffee and a special lunch bag before heading in to see his favorite library aide.

"Hey you," he said with a small grin. "Gotcha something to help you through the day."

"Coffee, pastries and your favorite sandwich whatever that might be from J,GOB's", Marty said putting each item on the counter. "There should be enough baked goods for the rest of the library minions to enjoy."

Angela grinned, and took a quick peek at the sandwich. "You even remembered to get provolone instead of swiss," she said. "Thank you."

She took the pastries and set them up on a table behind the counter. "So what were you doing in town so early?" she asked.

She's given up on testing herself and is reading the chapter on famous psychics in history.

Marie Antoinette? You would think that would have worked out better for her.

Molly entered the library and walked up to the counter. "Hi, Angela. I'm hoping you can help me find something."

"I told Blair that I'd help him rehearse for the play, and I have my script, but I really haven't read most of it that closely. I mean, I know what is generally going on, but I'd kind of like to know what the lines mean if I'm going to help him. So, I was wondering if you had one of those editions that translates Shakespeare into normal English." Molly looked at Angela expectantly.

"Probably?" Angela guessed. She went over to the computer and tapped a few keys before looking up.

"Okay, cool. It looks like we have one copy of something called Shakespeare Made Easy. That's probably what you want. It's over with the other Shakespeare in the fifth row of shelves to the right, third one down."

The day is almost done, and Angela has set her book aside and is staring into space. She might be humming.
