Angela spends much of her day in the library flipping through something called The Complete Idiot's Guide to Psychic Phenomena and testing herself with the quizzes at the back.

She looks kind of cranky at the results she's getting.

In any case, she's there to help with all your library-type needs.

She isn't reading quite yet; she's gulping down a cup of coffee.

Apparently, Angela is not clairvoyant.

She's in art. Someone else can help you?

She's not telekinetic, either.

Nor does she seem to be telepathic.

She's given up on testing herself and is reading the chapter on famous psychics in history.

Marie Antoinette? You would think that would have worked out better for her.

The day is almost done, and Angela has set her book aside and is staring into space. She might be humming.

After talking to Veronica, Marty swings by J,GOB's and picks up an array of baked goods, coffee and a special lunch bag before heading in to see his favorite library aide.

"Hey you," he said with a small grin. "Gotcha something to help you through the day."

"Hey," Angela said, leaning across the counter to give him a quick kiss. "Ooh, present?"

Mmm. Quick work-kissy.

"Coffee, pastries and your favorite sandwich ~~whatever that might be~~ from J,GOB's", Marty said putting each item on the counter. "There should be enough baked goods for the rest of the library minions to enjoy."

Angela grinned, and took a quick peek at the sandwich. "You even remembered to get provolone instead of swiss," she said. "Thank you."

She took the pastries and set them up on a table behind the counter. "So what were you doing in town so early?" she asked.

"Just shopping for you really. I talked with Veronica after ACJ and had enough time to run town to get you a little something," Marty replied he said taking a sip from his own cup of coffee.

"How is Veronica? I stopped off to say hi yesterday, but I kind of never see her lately," Angela said.

"So you weren't looking for stuff to blow up in town? It said on the radio. Which also thinks teddy bears trashed my room, so."

"She's still recovering from trying to find a cure for Angel, but it sounds like she's going out to California next weekend," Marty replied.

"And, um yeah. I might be blowing something up. Nadia and I are duplicating an art project we say in a museum."

"So you're exploding things for art?" Angela asked, breaking off a chunk of muffin and popping it into her mouth. "Cool."

"Yeah, the idea is to fill a shack with a bunch of stuff and then take a picture of it when it blows up," Marty explained, "Which to me doesn't really sound like art, so I guess that's why we're doing it. To see if it is truly art. Does that make any sense?"

"Not really," Angela admitted. "But I kind of want to see the results anyhow."

She scrunched up her face. "Is the island really big enough to blow something big up on?"

"It's a small shack," Marty said helping himself to a bit of the muffin. "So it's not going to be a major explosion. Just enough to make a noise and fling stuff around."

Angela looked a little dubious. "Just don't hurt yourself."

She held up a book that had come in the mail that day. "So I ~~handwavily~~ ordered this for Angel 'cause he said he wanted books, and look how perfect the cover is."

"We'll be taking all the percautions, so it'll be fine," Marty said laughing at the cover. "Oh that's just too perfect. I'm surprised that wasn't one of the prizes yesterday."

Zero is here. She'll be glad to help.

Zero stumbles in, jet-lagged as all get-out and carrying a tall frosty milkshake. However, despite the exhaustion, she had a big stupid grin that just wouldn't quit. "Mmfrgle." That was probably supposed to be 'good morning.'

"I think it's only because I didn't show it to Rory," Angela laughed. "Though maybe the hat is cheating."

"Morning," Angela said, quirking her eyebrows. "So ... how was jail?"

"Eh, jaily. Bars, cinderblocks, drunken conspiracy theorist in the next cell. Y'know, the usual."
