Detention, Saturday, February 25th 2006

Fraser's standing quietly at the front of the classroom, waiting for those with detention to file in and take their seats.

The names are listed on the board.

When everyone is seated, Fraser starts speaking. "I'm sure you all know why you've been called here today. Whether it be for misbehavior, disrespect to a teacher, not going to class or, and sorry Mr. Sandburg, being the winner of a very peculiar lottery, you have all earned detention in one way or another. It's an unfortunate circumstance and one I'm sure you do not wish to repeat. We will begin activities shortly, we will break for lunch, and there will be more activites after lunch. If everything is successful, I will dismiss you in the early evening. Any questions?"

Xander groaned. "How did I know you were gonna say that ~~before I even clicked the link, seriously~~?"

"Very well, I guess we hold hands," Fraser says and sticks out both his hands.

Blair grabbed a hand and grinned. "Who's going to lead?"

Quinn will KICK XANDER'S ASS if it means she can hold Ben's other hand. So she grabs onto Ben yay.

Fraser takes a hold of Blair's hand and of Quinn's hand. "Xander and Miss Sullivan? Just this last activity and then you are free of detention."

Chloe is content to settle for Quinn's hand, but there's no way she's leading them in song. There are lines that must be drawn.

Xander's actually kinda uncomfortable with the idea of ~~enjoying~~ holding Fraser's hand? So this actually works for him. He grabs Chloe's free hand almost cheerfully.

Which doesn't stop him from saying, "What's that, Quinn, you want to lead but you're too shy to say so?"

"Miss Morgendorffer wants to lead?" Fraser nods at her. "You're on, Miss Morgendorffer."

"My throat's a little scratchy after the Canada song, I don't think I could do it justice," says Quinn. "Xander could probably do it."

"Miss Morgendorffer," Fraser says. "Lead the song? For me?"

She grins. "Anything for you," she tells him.

"Kumbaya... something, Kumbaya..."

Fraser follows her.

Blair swings his arm and sings and bounces happily.

Xander rolls his eyes as visions of s'mores and bug juice dance in his head. Though that makes him think that Fraser should totally lead people on a camping trip sometime OMG. With a fire and marshmallows and stuff. Which thought does get him to grin.

Quinn's still holding Ben's hand and this makes her happy.

"That was wonderful," Fraser tells her and everyone else. He gives him a round of applause.

"Thank you very much for being well behaved, understanding, thoughtful and interesting. Detention is dismissed!"

"Best detention ever," says Quinn, who makes no move to leave.

"That's very kind of you to say considering it was detention," Fraser says. "I do hope I haven't ruined your entire Saturday."

"Best Saturday ever!"

No, really. She means that.

"That's very flattering," Fraser says. "But it's over now and you can go and meet your friends and have a good time."

"Oh, that's okay. It's fun here."

"I'm afraid I don't have any other acitivites planned, Miss Morgendorffer," Fraser says. "My creativity has been tapped."

Quinn does not make a comment about anything else that could be tapped.

"Could you sing some more?"

"Not today, Miss Morgendorffer," Fraser says. "I've sung all I can for one day. Maybe next time I run detention."
