Throughout the lawn, tables and chairs had been set up and scattered, some out in the bright, sunny center of everything, and some in the darker, more remote areas.

Eat up, folks! Don't let that food go to waste!

Barry was beginning to feel overloaded from the social aspect of newbie day and parked himself down at a table before realizing someone else was there already.

Er.

"If you're new here the food is universally safe to eat but the potato salad has too much relish," he said awkwardly.

"Yeah, total noob," Barry admitted. "But I'm a senior so this is technically my last fucking year too so after this I'm done. I'm Barry, by the way."
