The lights are up up on the stage, and Dewey sits in the middle of the center aisle of seats, a notebook and pen in hand, and his iPod at the ready in case there are any lulls in auditions.

Yes, that is seriously how low-key Dewey has set up auditions. Get up on stage and do your monologue and sing your song, and you shall be properly auditioned.

After Parker auditioned, she waved to Lee from her seat near Jaye, smirking. Oh, this should be good.

Parker settled in gleefully and waited for Lee to audition.

Actually, the acting wasn't bad at all. The singing, well... he'd have time to practice, right?

On his way back, she called teasingly, "Hey, Apollo!"

Parker threw popcorn at him, then stuck out her tongue. "Niiiice song," she says, instead of complimenting him on the reading. She grins to take the sting out of it, though. "So, do you really want to get in?"

"Rory and MacB talked me into auditioning, so not really. There isn't a part I want, the girls are too silly. Which young noble of Athens do you fancy yourself as?" Parker offered him the popcorn bag and took another bite herself. "I'm hoping Molly gets in, her audition was adorable."

She cleared her throat. "Anyway. Were you around for Valentine's Day?"

Lee is quite sure that nothing will be "fine." But he doesn't say anything about it.

"Yeah, I did get back in time for your strange earth ritual of love. Did you enjoy the holiday?"
