How To Steal A Princess, Friday

Class today was set in the danger shop. Because the Ice King had used his mystical arts on the programming until it worked how he wanted.

Meaning Gunter programmed it all.

There was a box in the middle of the room with a stick propping it up. Yes, they were doing the 'trapping' phase of princess stealing. "Bait," the Ice King said firmly. "If you want to catch a foxy lady, you can't just throw anything out there. You need to pick the right bait."

This was sure to work, right?

"I'm using a picture of myself to lure them in because no one can resist this paragon of wizardly beauty."

If you looked closely, it would appear it was indeed a picture of his face taped onto a model's body. "Pick your own bait," he snapped peevishly. "No idea stealing allowed!"

Because you all wanted to use that picture. Really.

Jackson glanced up, utterly unapologetic about how he hadn't been listening and had to take a second to process what had been said to him.

"I don't believe in traps," he decided, after the couple of seconds it took him to do that. "Or luring princesses. Or doing anything in this class."

"I'd ask why you're here, then, but I'm pretty sure this whole class is just a nasty prank by the school board." There weren't many other plausible explanations. "You're not even a little willing to play along?"

Jackson shook his head. "No."

He wasn't going to apologize for that, either. After all the terms he'd dealt with Pinkie Pie and Derek, he'd kind of had it with the wacky.

"Got better things to do than follow the orders of a crazy person."

Like texting his BFF.

Also, translation: he'd almost had a nervous breakdown over meeting the office moose the first time, and was too traumatized by the event to want to meet it again.

Mira just stood behind the Ice King with a rope. Whenever foxy ladies came by him, she would just throw the rope at them. Boom.

And yes, she brought a damn rope to class. IT WAS PRACTICAL.
