"Right now I just wanna get through the day," Anders says, muffled by the table. "I think I might've done something dumb by deciding not to put on Bridge's gloves. My head hurts. Soon's we all get together, maybe we'll figure something out."
He raises his head to look at her, ruffling his hair in a gesture of agitation. "All I know is, as of a couple hours ago Bridge woke up with Cally and is sleeping in my bed."
"Um. I assume he isn't *now*...." Parker shook her head. "And yeah, you should put the gloves on. He's never got them off, it's no wonder your head hurts."
The urge to pat Bridge on the head was fighting with the weirdness of the whole thing, and Parker gave up and *facepalmed*.
"My thoughts exactly," says Anders dryly. He bangs his forehead into the table a couple more times. "See? I totally sympathize. Also this sort of takes the confusion away."
He thinks for a second, kicks his shoes off, and pulls off his socks before shoving his hands into them and shrugging helplessly at Parker. "Okay. Minor improvement."
Parker choked, and managed *not* to gag by dint of swallowing. "Okay then. Anything I can do to help? That doesn't involve, I don't know... shaking your hand now?"
"Sorry," Anders says with an embarrassed smile. "I've just got that whole too much information thing going on now, but it makes less sense to me than it probably does to Bridge, and I can't get back into the room without his keycode."
He thinks for a moment. "If this is still going on tomorrow, though? I'll look you up."
"Sure." Parker nods slowly. Frankly, her brain is going to uncomfortable 'thank God it's not me' places, and she's trying not to think who *she'd* end up switching bodies with. "I hope it's done with tomorrow, though."
