"Everyone was having fun." Janet grinned. "And it was good to just sit down and watch a movie with friends. Are you doing okay? With everything that's going on, I mean."
She didn't want to pry, but she did want to show concern. So she wasn't planning on pushing.
"Oops," said Janet. "But you're a pretty good student, right? One bad test shouldn't drag your grade down too much." She grinned. "Besides, how can you turn down Monty Python?"
"So what's your favorite scene?" asked Janet, clueless about Cameron missing the movie. "I think it's probably a good thing no one in the Arthurian class was around to critique for accuracy.
"Pretty good," Marty said giving her a quick but nice kiss. "And when enrollment comes around I'll do my best to remind you of that. Sorry I didn't see you outside of class yesterday. I just picked up a couple of shifts over at Empire Records and started working there yesterday."
"Oh really," Angela asked, interested. "What do they have you doing? And yeah, I was kind of invisible yesterday. Headache. Better now. Did you do anything fun?"
"Aw. Your poor head," Marty said with a little frown. "As for fun? The only thing I really did yesterday was sell a CD to a cat and bought a little prize for Rory. We're still on for the dance tonight, right?"
