The students had been told to wear their swimsuits under their clothing today and then to meet up at the Portalocity office.

"Today is going to be hot," Ben said with a smile. "You're going to Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates and it's about 115 degrees already--a nice early summer morning."

Anakin grew up on Tatooine, so that kind of weather didn't impress him much. "Please be on your best behavior: the Emiratees are more liberal than many of their neighbors, but that doesn't mean they love sleeveless shirts and miniskirts," he warned. "If you're concerned about what you're wearing, we've provided pants and button-up shirts for you to change into. Other than that, have fun, don't get too lost in the souq, and we'll see you at the finish line.q

Theo was pretty sure this had been his worst finish ever but he was just glad to have gotten through it. And the slide had made things a little more fun so he wasn't too upset when he finally got to the check in.

Anakin didn't mind that he was soaking wet and had to squelch his way to the check-in, because it was kriffing hot.

"Beyond astral," Anakin laughed, scrubbing at his hair with the towel. (Spoiler alert: it wasn't going to improve the state of his hair, unless you counted 'making it even more of a hopeless mess' as an improvement.) "I'm thinking of trying it again and getting holos for Tahiri."

You could tell he'd really liked the slide, since he wasn't even annoyed about coming in fifth.

Alex was actually in a good mood when she arrived. The slide was that fun. She kind of wanted to try it again.

There didn't seem to be anyone already there when Raven arrived. "Well? How'd I do?" she asked, not even too anxious to get her hands on a towel.

Mimicking clothes meant she wasn't even having to pick out a wedgie, right now.

Raven threw her arms in the air and did a little victory dance. "This one was actually pretty fun," she admits.

Emily basically strolled her way towards them, not terribly concerned about the wetness. The heat was something else though.

"The check in should have totally been in a pool," she said. It was a nice idea right?
