Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I
Whoever worked their magic to ensure that the welcome picnics had nice weather had cut their mojo very close this time around. The weather was lovely today - sunny and hot enough to make it clear that summer in Fandom had finally begun - but the overnight thunderstorms had left puddles all over the lawn that hadn't quite dried up yet.
Still, the tables and chairs had managed to be scattered around, along with the buffet table ofmoddable food and drinks, and the information table with name tags, the Big and Little Sibling list, and the list of new roommates. The only thing missing was people to enjoy the festivities!
[OCD is up! This is part one of the picnic, specifically for meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. The rest of the picnic is happening here in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Wait, was she going along with this? The pony was kind of hard to ignore.
"You're completely serious about this." It wasn't even a question.

With that, Old Lace trotted over, and sniffed curiously at Alex. So, there was some proof.

What did one say to friendly dinosaurs? "Uh...hi?"
What kind of place did Nikita send her to?
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling [Summer 2013-1]
Old Lace made a soft, indignant noise.
"Anyway, so there're also people from different points in time, too," she continued. "Pretty sure I know at least one guy from the twenty-second century or so. It's 2013 here, for the record."
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling [Summer 2013-1]
Probably most people could say that.
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling [Summer 2013-1]
She paused, took a breath, and asked, "Do you want the rest of the rundown or do you need a break? The rest of it is scarier, I should warn you."

"A cave full of monsters. Sounds like you speak from experience." It was an observation more than a question.
Re: Meet Your Big/Little Sibling [Summer 2013-1]
Sorry, Alex?

Hm. Was there anything else she should say?
"Other than that, I'm in 229 if you ever need to find me," she added. "And my number's 555-4378."

Apparently, she had more weirdness to explore. Or something.
