Sociology - Sex Cultures: 6th Period

Grissom's students find a note on the Sociology lab door that they should meet in Danger Shop.

When they arrive, they find that a performance area has been set up for them, complete with room for an audience.

"Welcome, everyone! I'm glad you made it. I know that you have all been working hard on your presentations, so I wanted to give you the opportunity to share them with your fellow students. We'll begin in a few minutes, and I'll let the audience in. Happy Valentine's Day!"

Phoebe looks around for Paige and Shep. Maybe Paige can make the leather skirt look longer for this?

Shep showes up in his mostly bloodless Ren Faire garb... or at least what could be salvaged of it.

Phoebe is wearing this and looks at Shep. "We ready for this?"

Lana goes up and pulls Phoebe aside and kisses her on the cheek. "Thank you," she whispers in her ear.

Phoebe hugs her. "You're very welcome." She whispers back.

"And you look beautiful. Of course. I mean, you are drop dead gorgeous *anyway*. Good thing you're my friend or I'd probably be in tears," she said lightly.

"I know." She glances over at Bel. "He is handsome in that isn't he. I told him I thought you were impressed." She giggles a little.

Phoebe smiles at her slightly. "I always have been," she says wistfully as she looks at Cole and then back to the dress she's picking at.

"Me too," Lana admits. "I figure it's only fair to tell you that during a kind of game of Truth or Dare, when i'd had a bit too much to drink, I told Shep that if he and I weren't together, I'd be interested in Bel - assuming he wasn't already taken, of course, which he totally is." She gives Phoebe a sheepish smile.

"And assuming he wasn't supposed to be with you."

"He's not with me," she mumbles, looking at Lana and shrugging, but there are tears. "But, if you and Shep weren't, and you and Cole did... I'd know you wouldn't hurt him."

Phoebe mutters something about never being ready for a wedding and loks at her sister. "Paige?"

She looks over the notes again and nods, "erm yeah I guess so if you two are."

Shep claps his hands and rubs them together. "Let's get this over with."

"Quickly," she says, aware that she's scared.

Shep gives her a reassuring smile. "Relax, it's not like this is for real or anything. It's like being in a play."

She looks at Shep. "I wasn't expecting an audience."

Paige nods, "yeah it'll be fine, don't worry it's not like I'm a high priestess or anything!"

She pulls out a piece of silver cord, "right so I have to tie your wrists together okay?"

Lana goes over to him and kisses him lightly on the cheek. "You look incredibly handsome," she says softly. "Though, the outfit..." She raises her eyebrows. "Brings back a few memories."

Shep kisses her back. He's looking around the Danger Chapel and having horrible flashbacks to his first high school's dressing rooms right before the opening night of the play. Guys are in skirts, girls are in dresses that would take hours to get into (and far too long to get out of ;) everyone's mumbling about knowing their part.

"Hey," he answers Lana in true guy fashion. "I scrubbed most of the blood out. And I stapled the tear in the sleeve."

He looks at her outfit and lets out a low whistle. "Wow. Nice."

She laughs. "If you'd told me you were going to wear it I would have sewn it for you."

She blushes at his whistle. "Aw... Thanks. It is a pretty gorgeous dress, isn't it?"

"Nah, I figured this just added more authenticity. You gotta figure there had to be a few midevil clutzes around back in the day." He smiles at her.

"Wow. And here I've been studying Medieval History all semester and not once did the mention the prevalence of staplers!" She grins at him teasingly.
