Sociology - Sex Cultures: 6th Period

Grissom's students find a note on the Sociology lab door that they should meet in Danger Shop.

When they arrive, they find that a performance area has been set up for them, complete with room for an audience.

"Welcome, everyone! I'm glad you made it. I know that you have all been working hard on your presentations, so I wanted to give you the opportunity to share them with your fellow students. We'll begin in a few minutes, and I'll let the audience in. Happy Valentine's Day!"

Paige rolls her eyes, "you have no faith in me at all do you? I know what I'm doing okay, so are we ready?"

"I think the fact that we're standing here tied to each other would be hint that we're ready to tie the knot. OH! Hey! That must be where that expression comes from!"

Shep isn't always the brightest bulb in the box.

Phoebe can't help it, maybe it's nerves or whatever, but she starts giggling. She starts giggling so much she may fall down.

Lana comes over and puts a supportive hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, it's not real and you're with friends here," she whispers."

"Is this where the willing sacrificial lamb part comes in?" Phoebe is maybe going into hysterical giggles. "Lana..."

"Phoebs? You okay?" Lana asks. "What do you need me to do to help you?"

"I think we just invented the maid of honor," Shep mumbles to anyone who happens to be listening.

Shep looks at the slightly hysterical girl he's been tied to and turns to her sister. "I think we better step this up."

Shep smiles, but it's one of those, "I'm supposed to be happy so I'm fucking smiling dammit" smiles.

"You better not pull me down! It's bad enough that I have to marry you, the last thing I need is people going around saying we were already rolling on the floor before we even said 'we did'."

Paige nods and turns to face the audience,

"in medieval times handfasting were one of the most popular wedding ceremonys they lasted for a year and a day before this process was repeated or the couple could go on their seperate ways."

She then turns to face Phoebe and Shep.

"We are gather here today to unit2 two souls as one, do you John Sheppard and Phoebe Halliwell join us here of your own free will to acknowledge the eternal bond shared between you?"

"this cord represents the bond you share together,"
she then hands the chalice which may or may not be empty to Shep to offer to Phoebe.
"this chalice of wine signifies the fact that you will always care for each other."
