The Chef is clearly hungover this morning. He has sunglasses over his eyes and he's drinking water very slowly out of a bottle.

Nadia nodded. "Yeah. He was very sweet. I just hope I won't have to kill him for dating a whole bunch of different girls." She shrugged. "But we've only had one date, and I don't know when he set up the date with Jaye, and I think I heard she has a boyfriend, so I don't think I'll have to,"

Walter looked up at Nadia's threat and grinned. "He had better hope you do not decide you have to kill him. I do not even need to offer to help because I know you can do it yourself."

Nadia raised her eyebrow. "What, you don't think I'll need protection?" she said, in a sickeningly sweet voice. Then she smiled. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I could take him. He'd be too busy bouncing cutely to fight back." And she in no way got a touch schmoopy when she described Blair's bounce. Not even a little. That expression was due to the thought of hurting people.

Okay, I give in. Nadia's a schmoop.

"I do not think he is the fighting sort anyway," Walter said, remembering snowman weekend. "And he is very bouncy."

Schmoopy's good. Schmoopy's very good.

Unless it's being used to describe Walter and Victor on the radio. Then? Not so good.

Pip saw the smoking section already being formed and wandered over after grabbing a tray. "Hi kids," he said, lighting a cigarette. "What's up?"

"Hey Pip," Nadia smiled. "Did you get your PS2 down to the shop for Hal?"

"Not yet. I'm hoping that Hal will be a one-system kind of guy and he'll find the xBox more appealing. I'll take it down for a visit after classes, I guess."

Nadia grimaced. "At least you're not the one who promised to visit him everyday. It'd be one thing if it were likely that I'd never go to the shop, but I have classes there twice a week."

"Awww, the computer has a human girlfriend. How cute. I hope he doesn't get jealous of Blair," Pip said, taking a bite of his sandwich.

Nadia smirked and aimed a light smack at Pip's shoulder. "Like you weren't ready to promise anything to get him to open the door."

Pip nodded. "Touche. I had a number of contingency plans in case the one we used didn't work."

Nadia tilted her head. "How many of them invovled explosions?" She took a bite of her pasta.

Walter grinned at Pip and gestured for him to take a seat. "Just planning to use you in devious ways tomorrow morning."

"Goody," Pip said. "What kind of deviousness, how early will I have to wake up, and what sorts of special tools will I need?"

"Easy. We just need to get into the principal's office again. The only tools you will need are whatever you used to do that last time. And we're just preparing a little Valentine's something for the substitute. I'll bring the screwdriver."

"Are we moving the golf cart again? I kind of like it where it is. Makes a great inbox."

"Oh no. The golf cart is perfect exactly where it is." Walter showed Pip the Valentine's confetti he had bought earlier. "We're just going to shower him in festive Valentine's hearts and glitter. To make his day sparkly and loving."

Pip grinned. "Well, it's like we're doing a public service, isn't it? Making someone's day brighter and more loving."

If asked, Nadia would most definitely not call Walter and Victor schmoopy. This is because she wouldn't know what the word meant. She would describe them as excessively cute, though. "Yeah, he is." She frowned. "What happened to him during the snow monster attack?" She'd been too busy getting stitched and pain-killering herself into oblivion to listen to the radio that night.

"I did not catch all of it. The gym was very busy, but I did hear him asking about negotiating with them." Walter smirked, remembering the armored person's response to that.

Nadia's eyebrows shot up and she grinned. "That sounds like Blair, alright. He proposed giving all of our money to charity when we were playing monopoly."

Walter took a bite of his sandwich before nodding. "I do not know what monopoly is, but giving money to charity sounds about right. I wonder if he would make the same proposition if the game were strip poker?"

Nadia thought for a moment. "He might die of nervousness and embarrassment, first, if there were girls present. But if he survived that, he probably would."

Walter pointed his fork at Nadia and laughed, "I think most guys would consider strip poker to be rather pointless if there were no girls present."
