Rita sat behind her desk studying a book entitled 50 Signs of Mental Illness : A Guide to Understanding Mental Health.

Across the board in sparkling purple letters were instructions:

Work on the obituaries.

Do not attempt to be any nationality but your own.

If Nigel van Susteren shows up, he is advised to leave before he finds out what it's like to be a scarab beetle cockroach canary.

Rory pet the tiny meerkat John. "Aww."

And look, there's her phone. Picture time!

If John could talk, he would totally protest to this picture taking that's been happening lately.

So, he attempts to speak but is only able to wave his hand in the air and look confused.

John scowls but it doesn't translate very well on a meerkat's face.

For this, he will get revenge on Professor Skeeter. So, he jumps off the desk and snakes his way over to where she's reading, trying to be stealthy.

Rita totally saw him coming but ignored him.

Probably a bad move.

John totally bites the toe of Professor Skeeter's shoes, hoping for food.

Rita kicked him like she was her mun's neighbor and John was a tiny puppy.

Since Professor Skeeter has big feet, the kick hurts and he hits a desk leg and stays still.

Rory scurried over and poked at him with a pencil.

"John?"

John makes a loud meerkat noise and twitches when he gets poked with a pencil.

John curls into the scritches, enjoying himself and then pulls himself to his wee feet.

He wee hands rubs his eyes and he hopes that hitting that desk leg won't cause a bruise on his real back.

Rory took another picture and sent it to Aeryn: "TINY MEERKAT 2DAY. AW."

John tries to cross his arms. But they're too short so he only ends up flailing like a flailing thing.

So, he makes a noise that sounds like a whine.

Chloe grins with jealousy at Rory's phone. "We've got to get Aeryn to come to class some day so she can see John in action."

So he scampers away and hides behind a bookshelf.

John sniffs and smells another Oreo.

So, he scampers out again, tries to grab the Oreo and make a quick escape.

She took him over to Rita.

"Fix him."
