Zero opens the library and takes up a post behind the desk with a large cup of coffee and a rather questionable-looking romance novel with a centaur and a mermaid on the cover.

Angela gives Zero a wary look as she enters the library. "Hi, she mutters, before finding some shelving to do.

"Hi," Zero says mildly.

Angela's eyes, guarded, land on Zero's face briefly, reading the weather there before skittering down to Angela's own shoes.

"I'll be shelving stuff in fiction if you need me," she said. "I mean ... just in case we get, like, a rush on books."

"Professor Pierson is giving exams, so we might actually get some studiers," Zero tells her.

Angela raises her eyebrows and nudges a few steps closer to Zero. "Impressive," she says. "I mean, studying in the library ... that's kind of crazy."

"Yes, well. Half the student body here is insane."

Yep, Zero's still mad. Probably. It's way easier to just not say anything and find out for sure.
