Detention: January 28th

The Tick entered the Danger Shop, carrying some coffees and with Lockheed trailing behind. The shop had been programmed to look just like his classroom because he was prepared to inflict the deepest punishment he could think to inflict upon a person; he was going to lecture them today.

As the students filed in, The Tick pointed them towards the sign-in sheet.

Samuel Throgmorten Anders
Archibald Kennedy
Alphonse Elric
Edward Elric
Togusa

Charles Kawalsky

Once everyone was in and seated, he began to speak.

"Hello, students. You kids have either earned - or in your case, Togusa, had the bad luck to be randomly selected - your time here today. I have coffee, notebooks, and pens for you today. I'm going to lecture you this morning, and then after lunch, you'll be expected to write about what you heard. I'd suggest taking good notes so your essays shine."

[OOC: During the lectures take notes, pass notes (although you will get caught at a certain point), ask questions afterwards, whatever. Lockheed may mock you. There will be a short essay at the end of detention. And the fact that there are no threads after Lunch right now? Means absolutely nothing, really. As for timeframe... well, who can predict these things, really? You'll know when it's over.]

The snow monster lurched towards the fool who would dare associate him with zombies which were an entirely different class of monster, really. Neither head looked pleased.

Well, that was smart. Edward scrambled up out of his seat and backwards, clapping his hands as he did so.

The twoheaded snowman threw a wicked stick-hand punch at Edward.

Edward's automail arm flashed up quickly to deflect the punch. He slid under the snowmonster's reach, ducking backwards in an attempt to stay out of range. Fire - oh, he would kill for one of Mustang's gloves right now - he needed something to start a spark.

The twoheaded snowman started lobbing his patented Snowballs of Hypothermic Fun at Edward.

It was monkey time. Edward dodged backwards, tripping himself over someone's abandoned desk and hitting the floor hard. He clapped his hands as he hit the floor, making the ground underneath him and the monster both shift and hopefully knocking the thing over, giving Edward enough time to regroup.

Surely enough, the snowman fell. The funny thing about being made of an entirely malleable substance, however, is that it remained upright the entire time.

Edward swore and scrambled backwards. That didn't work as he'd planned. As he fumbled back his shoulder hit a desk and knocked someone's pens and notebook on him. Very quickly he flipped the notebook over and sketched a familiar fire array (http://www.fullmetalalchemist.info/circle/RoyCircle.jpg) on the paper.

"Now we're talking," he said with a smirk as the array produced a very large flame.

The Twohead stared at the flame just long enough to get completely melted by it. Good work.
