Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

Edmund didn't blink. He'd heard stranger non sequiters. "Of course not, no creepy pie or biting from me, I assure you. However, I believe that all of the excitement of meeting you has left me completely wrung out - tired," he amended. "And I think I shall have to find a bed."

"Well there are some cots available still I think, and there are beds in 506 if you don't mind rooming with a monkey and a horse."

She glanced down at the two silver coins though she couldn't for the life of her think what to do with the nasty little things. Maybe Mr. Neilson would like to play with them.

"Good night Ed." She said slipping them into her pocket. "It was very nice meeting you."

"I shan't forget meeting you, I promise," Edmund said in a manner that was kissing cousins to pleasant.

The girl gambled with gold. He could afford to be polite.
