Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

She laughed and shook her head. "Never mind." Abruptly, her crane tumbled out of the air. She squawked and shoved the basket of chocolate at Victor, grabbing for her little origami crane, which lay rather limply in her hand. "I think I have a medical emergency . . ."

Ivanova prodded it with a finger. "C'mon little guy, wake up. At least until I find Tonks. Please . . ."

The crane twitched and fluttered, as if making a brave effort. It rose into the air and hovered. Ivanova smiled, rather watery. "Good little guy. Here, have a rest." She plucked it out of the air and tucked it away in the safest place she could think of - her cleavage. "He'll be fine. I hope." She shook her head. "Showing concern for a piece of paper. Oh, Fandom, how weird thou art."

Victor and the mun shook his head and blushed. "I gotta get going," he said, handing Ivanova her basket and walking off quickly.
