Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

With all the running around, Victor was thirsty. Fortunately, someone was serving tea, which was better than nothing.

"Hey, can I please have some?" he asked.

"Hi there, of course you may," answers Jessica with a big smile, handing him a cup. "But I think Pepto-Bismol would be of much more help with that upset stomach...whatever you ate dear...my goodness...you have this pale green hue...maybe you should sit down?" Jessica stands up and offers him her chair behind the table.

Victor rolled his eyes and drank the tea. "Thanks, but I'm supposed to look like this," he explained with a smile. ordinarily, he would've felt self-concious by her words, but after a few weeks in Fandom, he figured she wasn't saying it to be mean.

"If you say so dear," says Jessica with a smile as she sits back down. "I didn't mean anything by it, I'm sorry...its a rather lovely shade of green actually...Oh! To be honest I think I actually have a blouse in that exact shade. Its one of my favorites." Jessica nods her head and smiles wide.

Victor caouldn't help but laugh a little. "Don't worry," he said, finishing his tea. Then, he felt a moment of daring. "Everyone likes a little green," he said with a grin and a wink. Then, without another word, he set down his cup and walked back off into the crowd.

Jessica might have blushed...if so, just the slightest of tads. "Tata!" she says with a short wave. Maybe I'll wear that blouse tomorrow....
