Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

"Giant squid?" Jessica finishes for Chiana, and puts her elbows on the table and hands on her checks and rolls her eyes. "Heard it." Jessica sighs.

Chiana headdesks. "Okay, not exactly what I was gonna say, but hey," she grins, "now it'll be your fault. And I'm really okay with that."

"Oh! Okay then. Works for me dear," says Jessica with a big smile. "So...can I make anything in particular for you?" asks Jessica, looking down at the tea cups.

"Er, no thanks," she says, making a face at the tea. "I...I don't really like tea."

Jessica gasped in a sort of you're joking, no? sort of way. "Oh, really? Well...thats okay...I have..." Jessica searches through her basket and looks about the table. "I could offer you some...lemon?..." Jessica makes a face. "Or biscuits, I have biscuits, too" says Jessica, noticing them at the bottom of her basket.

Chiana actually goes for the lemon. Because she's odd like that. "Thanks. So, what're you doing after this whole goodwill thing or whatever is done?"

Jessica taps her temple. "Silly me...I almost forgot...Kiki invited us to a slumber party! Isn't that fun?" asks Jessica with a big big smile. "I'm so excited."

"Oh really?" She didn't really know what a slumber party was, besides that one from last semester, but she doubted that was the kind of party *Jessica* would be going to. "Sounds fun. I guess I'll see you there then!"

"Good, I'm glad you're coming. Kiki told me it will be held in the forth floor common room, so when I'm finihed up here I'll see you there. Bye Chiana," says Jessica with an excited wave.
