Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

"Pictures that move?" Archie looked confused. "Is that different from television and films?"

Maia nodded quickly "Yeah is different, its just a regular picture but the people inside it move around and sometimes walk out of the picture all together leaving it blank. I've seen them, she has them on her fridge." Maia's voice got quiet "Its magic."

"Magic." Archie sighed, but he was smiling as well. "I'm never going to stop being surprised here, am I? I should let you get back to your work, though, and see what else I can do to help."

Maia nodded happily "Blair set me up doing this, perhaps you can set up a place to distribute the beds assignements and mattresses we're collecting." Maia grinned "Just jump in anywhere every little bit helps. It was really nice to meet you Archie."

"I'll do that," he agreed, offering his hand to her. "Maia, it was a pleasure to meet you as well, and thank you for doing this. It's wonderful to see people helping."
