Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

The Baron looked out over the crowd. Well, into the crowd. Over would require a bit more height. "Perhaps moving hot drinks closer to the entrance, organising the snacks and ration packs in one area for those who need something, but not a full meal. Other than on the food end, the students seem to have it in hand. Extra blankets, spare beds, medical assistance. Your opinion?"

Alfred nodded. "I believe one of the students has a tea line going, but it couldn't hurt to move the hot drinks closer. See what you can do about getting the snacks and rations people together. See if Wonka would be willing to be in charge of them, he's handing out chocolates." He stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Did your friend find a way to help, out of curiosity?"

The Baron rolled his eyes. "He's guarding the blankets. And by 'guarding' I do, of course, mean 'taking a nap on them'. Muta was never one of life's volunteers."

The Baron nodded. "It's too easy to maligned Muta, but he is the best of cats. I would always want him at my back."
