Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

Pip scratched the back of his head. "I've been having really terrible nightmares lately. I talked to the school counselor and she gave me a book on basic meditation so that I can learn to wake myself up from them. I was wondering if you could help me on it? She said that she doesn't want anything advanced. Just basic meditation, relaxation, focusing on the breath, etc. She seemed to be against the spirit world stuff for now."

Blair nodded slowly. "I don't have a problem helping you with the light stuff at all, man. If you decide you need to go deeper, I don't have a problem with that either...I'd just want someone else around to monitor. Because of the whole Pippi thing."

"When do you want to do this?"

Pip looked out the window. "Maybe after all this crazy weather stuff dies down? But I understand completely about the deeper stuff and a monitor. I just want to work on the lighter stuff for now. Maybe we can ask one of our friends to watch us?"

"Do we need to do this with the counselor around or just on our own?"
