Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

"Oh thanks" Maia took some chocolate "Yeah I think they are though I dare say we have more people then rooms even if they are empty." She writes down Susan's name and that she has a bed empty "I think you know a lot of people will stay up in the gym all night just from the adrenaline of the situation but who knows, this is just in case we fill the empty rooms and have students from the town who still need beds that sort of thing. Just covering bases." Maia takes a bite of the chocolate. "Oh this is really good." she said happily. "Thank you."

Ivanova produces the almost empty bag of gumballs from her pocket and fills it up with chocolates. "Here. Give them out, horde them for yourself, whatever, we've got lots to spare." She waves as she disappears into the crowd.
