Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

"Oh no, of course not!" She held out the large basket she was carrying. "Take as many as you like!"

The crane decided this was also a game and began divebombing the chocolates. Ivanova sighed and caught it. "You. Stay here," she commanded, feeling rather silly talking to a piece of origami.

Alfred was not easily suprised by an oragmi paper crane and accepted several chocolates. Popping one into his mouth, he nodded. "Thank you very much, but I must get back to making sure everyone eats."

Ivanova threw off a salute. "Good luck with that." She turned to Wonka. "Mr. Wonka, I'm going to start doing the rounds, offer people a pick-me-up, see if they need anything, alright?"

Wonka waved his hand at her, elegantly, and nodded. "Of course, that is a good idea."
