Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

"Yeah, and with this much good karma...nothing bad should happen!"

"You're a very positive person, Mr. Sandburg." Fraser nods approvingly. "It's a good attribute to have. Refreshing as well."

"Thank you, sir." Blair grinned happily at the compliment. The mountie wasn't anything like 'the Man'...probably due to being from Canada.

"You're very welcome," Fraser grins back. "And if you find yourself in need of anything, supplies or help, come and find me. I'll do what I can."

"No problem!"

Blair thought for a minute and then motioned for Fraser to come closer. "Um...you know that thing we talked about earlier this week?" He whispered quietly. "Do you want me to give it to you now?"

It takes Fraser a moment and then it clicks. "If he have it with you, yes, I can take it now and put it somewhere safe."

Blair looked right and then left and carefully pulled a small package (http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a144/footontheground/scavenger%20hunt/5138.jpg) out of his backpack. Covering it with his hand, he held it out to the mountie...looking around causually and whistling.

Fraser takes the package and tucks it under his arm carefully.

"Mr. Sandburg, I can keep this for you while you're on school grounds but it is your property so should you wish it back, just let me know."

"No way, man." Blair waved his hands. "I think the darts are really interesting in a anthropological sense...but it's still a weapon. Really bad karma to be owning that."

"Very well," Fraser says, smiling. "Thank you for your honesty in giving this to me and not hiding it. I'll put it in storage and make sure nobody causes harm with it."

"Thanks, man." Blair sits down heavily and draws a deep breath, letting it out slowly.

Fraser smiles again. "The night is young, Mr. Sandburg. Better get your rest in while you can."

"More like meditation, but I hear that."

"You're doing well," he says again, nodding. "Let me know if you need anything."
