Announcement and Refugee Hosting in The Gym, Friday Evening

The P.A. crackles to life.

"We shall be opening our doors to the poor, powerless townsfolk. They are to gather in the gym. Volunteers to help organize blankets, bedding, food, and etcetera would be very welcome."

Smith then walks down to the gym, props open the doors, and walks away. This was going to be a mess, and he felt ignoring it would be the best method to deal with it, rather than letting his head explode. Again.

[ooc: Huzzah! Townies can come to this post for their safety and warmth! Screening is disabled! Students and Teachers are welcome to organize something... but as it's an emergency, we hath not actually organized the refugee effort! Organize! Be Swift! But above all, interact and have fun!]

"Very lovely to meet you to. Are you settling in ok? All this madness in your first few weeks." Maia shook her head and smiled. "Do you have enough blankets in your room in case it gets to cold tonight?"

"Madness? Oh, this? This is nothing dear, don't worry." Jessica offers a comforting smile as she thinks about her and her family being held captive in the basement by two killers who had escaped from prison. That was madness.

"Oh yes, I should be alright, thank you. In fact I may even have a blanket or two I could spare. If I get a chance to leave this table later I'll bring them down."
