Welcome Dance - the Gym

The streamers and banners are up. So are a zillion multi-colored helium balloons.

The floor is cleared, and the bandstand is up at the north side of the room, ready for Dusted Bunnies to take their places.

The refreshment table, with the (as yet) unspiked punch is in place. There are chips and stuff as well, Chex mix, a few nachos and some guacamole.

He snickers a little. "Just checking." He moves a little closer because they are in the shadows and all. "I feed the sea monkeys all by myself this morning."

"I was quite proud of myself, thanks." He grins again. "What'd you get up to today?"

"Driver's Ed class and then the Muppet chicken," she says. "Not really anything groundbreaking."

"The basic controls are easy enough. Though... can weapons be installed, maybe?"

"Weapons on a car?" John shakes his head. "Sorry honey, no weapons on Earth cars."

"Easy," he says. "Two classes, all in the afternoon. Fed the seamonkeys, got called to the dean's office, took a nap and had lunch with Angel." He tries to slip the dean's office visit in quickly.

"Do at lunch?" Hey, being oblivious sometimes works. "Gave Angel some dating advice."

"Oh that." John shuffles his feet. "Left him magnets in a very high tech computer room. I guess magnets don't mix with computers."

"That's not so bad, if it was an honest mistake," she says, in a tone that says she hopes it was an honest mistake.

"Well, that was an honest mistake," he admits. "It was a gift. I...might've gotten a little lax when I was talking to him. I might've come off a little rude? I dunno. He was threatening me with pink spandex."

"Threatened, not punished," John soothes. "I just have to behave, I guess. I'm doing an all right job of that."

John smiles at that. "I don't get naked that often."
