Driver's Ed, Jan 13th, Period 1-2

Tommy watches his students file in to the Danger Shop, which currently is set up to resemble a typical classroom, for the most part. He might look a little unnerved as he recalls how Wednesday's class went. At the front of the class, is this:



"Hello everyone!" He greets them, once everyone has sat down. "If you can just sign the roll sheet, we can get started. I'm Dr. Oliver, you can call me Dr. O if you want, and I'll be teaching you how to drive. Just to clarify, the type of vehicles we'll be learning to drive in this class are typical 21st-century automobiles, commonly known as cars."

He looks around at his assembled class. "Please tell me you've seen a car before," he asks. "Anyway, today's assignment? Get in the car, and just... try to get a feel for the controls. Since this is only a simulation, the car won't move, no matter how hard you press the gas pedal. So... go at it. And feel free to ask me any questions you might have."

Cally shrieks and runs in horror from that facial expression.

"Yes. We would." Cally smiles. "And I don't believe you."

"I am." Anders pokes her in the knee again. "I just got tired of being on the other side of the car, 's all."

"Okay." Cally shrugs. "You do realize that I would totally make you drive me everywhere, right? I'd fix the car, but you'd drive it. That's how it'd work. You know, if we shared a car."

Anders laughs and leans over to rest his head on Cally's shoulder. "As long as you're the one fixing it and not me. Otherwise we'd be asking for trouble. Though you should probably wait and see what grade I end up getting in this class before you say things like that."

"Yep." Cally leans her cheek against the top of Anders' head. "Though you're gonna do awesome at this. I know it."

"As entertaining as this all is-" Tommy consults his attendance sheet "-Samuel and... Cally, I think you should maybe save that sort of behaviour for a time when you don't have as much of an audience?" Tommy gestures to the rest of the students.

"Um, Doctor Oliver?" Anders looks pained. "Please don't call me that?"

"Hee. Samuel."

Anders sticks his tongue out at Zero.

Zero just smirks at Anders, then turns to Dr. Tommy. "His name isn't Samuel, it's 'Daisy.'"

Cally isn't snickering. Honest.

But Anders is definitely kissing Cally, most likely with tongue, to keep her from not-snickering. Audience be damned.

Cally is taken a little by surprise, but doesn't resist at all.

"Okay, getting out of the car now." Cally says. "We can save the rest of this for later." She winks.

"Definitely for later," agrees Anders, giving Cally one more kiss on the cheek before swinging out of the passenger side of the car and going around to open the driver's side door for her.

"Yeah? You think so?" Anders brightens and reaches over to scritch Cally's stomach. "I feel much better about it now. Thanks, coach."
