After ACJ, Janet went up to her room, grabbed her backpack, and came back over to open up the library. She sat down behind the Collections Desk and started to process any library card applications that weren't finished yesterday.

"I'm just wonderful," said Janet. "Two weeks on the dot. I think the new librarian is going to be even stricter than the last one." She glanced over the books as she checked them out. "Are you in Geology this semester?"

"No," he said. "Just, um, personal interest. "A little reading for fun instead of for school when I have the time."

"I see," said Janet. She'd probably mention to Angel what books Belthazor was checking out. "Are you a fan of the subject, then? There's a Paleontology class running this semester too."

"Isn't paleontology about dinosaurs?" Bel said. "Saw plenty bones from them in the Underworld. No, just trying to broaden my knowledge base. Next week maybe it'll be astronomy or something."

"Yes, but I'd presume it's also about the geological strata," said Janet. "There's apparently a practical section as well as a lecture section."

"Huh," Bel said. "Well, if these books are as interesting as they look, maybe I'll looking to adding it if it doesn't conflict with my other classes. Know when it is?"

"Sixth or seventh period, Mondays and Wednesdays," said Janet. Damn. "Taught by Dr. Oliver, one of the new teachers. I just added it myself."

"If it's sixth I already have Sociology of the Paranormal," Bel mused, "but I'm free the seventh." He grinned at Janet. "Thanks, I'll have to check it out."
