After ACJ, Janet went up to her room, grabbed her backpack, and came back over to open up the library. She sat down behind the Collections Desk and started to process any library card applications that weren't finished yesterday.

"Oh, sure," said Janet, looking on the computer. "The art and writing as magic books are in Special Collections, so please don't tell me you want those," she said. "But the regular art books are in the back of the library, off to the left. So are you taking one of the art classes?"

"Yeah, I don't want any Special Collections books," Lee says frowning, "just the regular ones, please."

"Yeah, taking History of Art. Sounds pretty interesting!"

"Do you like the class so far?" she asked. "And thank God, because I didn't want to have to send you off for a teacher's note. It's too early in the day and the semester for people to try and sneak into SC."

"It's okay, it was just the intro class anyway." Lee says, "So, what's so special about the Special Collections section anyway?"

"It's where all the risky books are kept," said Janet. "The magical ones, the dangerous ones. And the porn. Things like that." She shrugged. "People keep wanting to get in there, but we've had more than a few transmogrifications."

"Transmor-buh?" Lee says, quizically.

"People kept getting turned into animals," explained Janet. "It was getting to be a pain."

"That happens a lot at this school," Lee says, slightly nervous.

"It's a little worrisome," said Janet. "But neither of us have been transmogrified yet."

"May the Gods continue to protect us, then," Lee quips.

"You have a polytheistic society?" asked Janet. "That's interesting."

"Yeah," he says shrugging. "I'm not a big believer, but yeah."
