Vala grins. "Hi, Chef!" she says in a bright, cheerful voice 'cuz zomg she didn't have to get up early on the first day!. She grabs herself a bowl of soup, a salad, and a couple of cookies and heads for a table.

After a spar with Aeryn and Pip, and some odd conversation with Bel and an apology to Callist, Cameron heads into the cafeteria. Spotting his favourite blonde streaked girl, he grins and moves to sit beside her.

"Yo!" He grins and kisses her cheek.

"Hey, there!" she smiles. "Thanks for letting me sleep in. I can't believe I have to be up at an ungodly hour for Criminal Justice again tomorrow." She groans theatrically at the thought. "What? Does JUSTICE! not understand the need for sleep?" she grumbled into her soup.

"Because Justice is a 24/7 sort of thing," Cameron replies with a smile. It's kinda hard to resist and he slides a hand under her hair to caress the back of her neck. "It was very tempted to wake you."

She smiles. "Well, o.k., I might not have killed you, if you'd woken me up nicely...." Something catches her eye across the room and she stares. "Is that the Principal?

Cameron looks up and blinks, his fingers stopping the slow massage he unconsciously had started. "Uh, seems so. That's not something I imagine Bristow would ever have done."

"No," Vala agrees, shuddering a bit before moving on. "So, how did shop go this morning? Build anything fun?"

Cameron frowns, his finger gently tracing along the edge of her hairline. "I'm not in shop. I was in the gym this morning. I apologised to Callisto, by the way."

"Shop, gym, something all manly with grunting," she shrugged it off. "So what does your schedule look like again?" she says, stealing a cookie off his plate.

"I believe we've got Self-Defence together during the last period and then I've got Tactics of War in the evening," Cameron replies and it's a lot more fun to slide his fingers in her hair than to actually, you know, eat. "Grunting?"

"What? You're not into grunting?" she grins. "Can't wait until self-defense. That should be fun... or scary....

"So, you talked to Callisto?"

Cameron clears his throat and pulls his hand back. "I am in certain kinds... that err... probably shouldn't be discussed here," he picks up his spoon and starts eating from his soup.

"Yeah, she came into the gym."

"Well, good. She's not someone you want pissed off at you." Vala pokes at her salad innocently. "And about that kind of grunting...," she pauses for a moment. "I take it you heard the radio broadcast last night? Have anything to say about how they ended up with that particular piece of 'news'?"

Cameron blinks, not following. "What?"

"The radio last night apparently felt the need to report that sometime during the day Cally reached the conclusion that I must be a screamer?" She looks at him. "Now where would they have gotten something like that?"

Cameron drops his spoon and groans. "I didn't say that! I told her it was none of her business!" He rubs a hand across his forehead. "Did they say anything else?"

Vala raises an eyebrow. "Should they have?"

"I should hope not! I only fantasize about you, damnit!"

"And Cally somehow thinks... what? That you fantasize about her?"

"What? God no! Ewl! That's like... Ick! She reminds me of Emily! Geez, Vala!" Cameron looks thoroughly grossed out.

Hey, it hit the radio last night, Vala's not letting this one go with some sort of 'handwave'.

"I wasn't saying anything! I outright refused to tell her about any sort of bed sounds you make because that's private and that's mine to hear and it's none of her business," Cameron argues.

Vala can't help but be amused, but tries not to let it show. "So, how exactly did the topic come up? Were she and Anders oversharing?"

"Yes," he pouts and touches her blonde streak. "I don't know what brought it up. I was just saying that the amount of noise normally is related to the amount of awesomeness of something. So Cally said you had to be a screamer then." He coughs as he kinda gets it better now.
