The Library (12/16/05)

Janet has no classes today, so she opens up the library, flips on the lights, and plots ways to get revenge on Jack O'Neill. Oh, and she works. Really. She is in no way browsing through webpages and ordering supplies for any future pranks when she goes on vacation.

She also puts up a sign:

RETURN YOUR LIBRARY BOOKS. NOW.
THE STAFF IS GETTING CRANKY.
ALSO: ZERO. MALLET. GET THE IDEA?

THE LIBRARY IS CLOSING EARLY
FOR THE INVESTIGATORS' CLUB MEETING.

Lee looks taken aback, shocked, startled, confused, etc. And he stutters, "w-w-what?"

Rory smiled. "A little bird told me you'd been asking what's up with me and Anakin Skywalker. Why would you think that there's anything going on there? Because there totally isn't."

Lee remembers talking a bit about it to Angela and then feels his cheeks turn pink. "Oh. Well. Um. Yeah, I'm caught, I guess. Err... Okay?"

"Why would you even think that, though?" Rory asked, tilting her head. "Anakin and I are just friends. Why does everyone think that there's more going on?"

"Nice young girl, dark mischevious jedi? You don't see it? Well, Anakin was looking at you and blushing a lot during Deep Thoughts last night," Lee retorts.

"Really?" Rory grinned.

Then she caught herself, and flushed a dark red. "I mean...he's protective. And Cole Turner was bothering me. Anakin was probably just watching to make sure I would be okay before he, y'know, came over to actually talk to Cole. Doesn't mean anything's going on. We're just friends."
