Lifestyle Seminar, here today.

The score is 127 for 5 (Flintoff caught and bowled by Warne), and the players are off for lunch. FOW at 2, 67, 67, 109, 126. Slartibartfast turns off the radio, opens his door and looks out at the deserted corridors of the school. He pins a note to the door.

Lifestyle seminar. Please come in and discuss your recent writing assignment, I'll be back in a bit.

And then he strolls off down the hall, leaving the door open, looking for some refreshment himself.

*Paige thinks* Ok sir. Well I like cheese, but I don't really eat it much, bacause, well I don't cook and I find it a bit fattening. A girl's got to keep her figure, she never nows when she might need it *Paige smiles*

::he nods:: I'm sure you'll have no trouble finding one here Kate, everyone seems to want to talk to the prettiest girls.

I'm sure they only do it because they love you. *he smiles*
What exactly did they do?

*sees Steele wink, blushes as he sits beside her*

Stuffed cheese in his shoes, and then when he got wise to that, took to chicking it in his hair.

...

He was rather pathetic really. *Laughs*

It's just that it was so hard to get any boyfriend, as all the boys at home are scared of my brothers.

[identity profile] rosefern-todd.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 01:27 pm (UTC)(link)
OOC: that was meant to be chucking it, not chicking it.

*laughs*

Well, those mental pictures may stay with me for the rest of my life.
Did the poor guy ever recover? Although... if he left you because of some cheese, I don't know if he doesn't deserves to.

*begins with her piece*

Throughout my life, cheese has helped me greatly. When I was 7, we had a small mouse infestation in our house. My mother was allergic to cats, so my father, instead set up traps, baited with cheese around the house. While ghastly at best, it did the job. And lately, with transferring here to fandom high, my total and utter lack of cooking skills has left me surviving on toasted cheese sandwiches and frozen cheesecake. They might be small incidents, and in the grand scheme of things insignificant, but that is how I have been affected, and helped, by cheese.

Well obviously, cheese stops hunger right? And lets not forget the downside of cheese; those who are allergic and month-old mould.

Am I on the right page sir?

Draco walks into the classroom and takes a seat in the back. With all the business he has been doing for the Dark Lord he almost forgot to go to class.

I suppose cheese could be used a torture device if someone is lactose intolerant. But as for my personal life I really can't say cheese has been too much of an impact. Of course I did love the cheese toasties the house elves used to make for me when I was little.

*Paige looks slightly disturbed by this comment from an old man*

Erm thanks, Sir

[identity profile] the4thsister.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
*Paige goes over to Draco* Erm I was just checking everything was ok. But this isn't my class so I'm going... somewhere else now

*is relieved to be on topic* Ah yes, [livejournal.com profile] _steele_ was telling me about this when I was over for dinner Saturday night.

Cheese is literally what I live on at the moment, until I get a roommate or cooking classes

*slides into place* (ooc:work nights, mountain time zone, going to no internet access day job now *cries*)

*slides in and takes a seat all late, looking embarrassed*

Oh goodness. Um.. sorry I'm late. Hi everyone, I'm Terra.

[identity profile] comewillingly.livejournal.com 2005-09-12 07:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah well, I'd never had cheese before, so it was kinda new to me. But I liked what I had. And I kinda wanna try other stuff too! Being out the lab is so different, but so nice at the same time. And cheese is just one example. Who knew things like that were out there.
