After kicking out everyone who wasn't a library aide, a Librarian, or incipient club member, Parker hung a sign on the outside door:

PRIVATE

Then adjourned to the counter, where the brownies, drinks, cookies, and fudge were.

Hopefully, more than just Marty, Zero, Janet and the Souled Wonder were going to show.

"That student handbook on how to survive Fandom High that we never seemed to get issued?" Xander offers.

Logan snorted. "If one ever existed, Bristow probably had all the copies burned. I think he likes keeping us in the dark. No, according to my girlfriend, the library aide, that's where the librarian keeps his porn."

Xander raised an eyebrow. "Oh, really." Then he made a face. "And ok, no, no, no, with the mental images of my last librarian having a porn stash. Bad. I banish thee."

"Oh, and picturing this librarian with porn is a good image?" Logan asked, raising his eyebrows.

"Thank you, now I have two librarians in my head. Reading porn." Xander looked slightly ill.

"Ew," Logan grimaced. He picked at a bit of loose rubber on his shoe. "I wonder what kind of porn has to be kept in Special Collections?"

Xander's sick face drifted off towards 'oh really' again. "Hmm. The good kind? Or the kind that drives you crazy after looking at it, or opens portals to hell. Which, ok, is most porn."

"Your porn opens portals to hell?" Logan stared at Xander. "What kind of world are you from?"

"I kinda meant your basic 'and now you're going there, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars' hell," Xander said. "Though I'm sure there's some porn in my world that takes that literally."

Logan laughed. "And before I moved here, I never would've taken that literally." He picked at his shoe a little more.

Xander eyed the distant bookstacks appraisingly while nibbling on the edge of a cookie. "So what would it take to get in to see this porn that's so top secret they have to keep it in Special Collections? A pass from the Porn Studies teacher?" His eyes widened. "Um. Do we have a Porn Studies teacher? Because that would be cool."

"I think any teacher can write a note. Kind of a lot of effort just for porn when you can get just about anything online." Logan swung his foot down and brought the other on onto the table. He stared at it for a moment. "Wonder if Spider would write a note? If we said it's for an article?"

Xander snorted. "Yuh-huh. And then we'd have to actually write the article."

Logan lifted his index finger. "Point," he said. "But what teacher is going to give us a pass to look at porn without expecting work for it?"

"No teacher who doesn't want to get his ass fired," Xander said, somewhat sadly.

Logan tapped his index fingers together. "There's one teacher," he said. "that brought me rum in the clinic. You know Coach Ash?"

"He's one of the DJ's, right?"Xander snickered. "Isn't he the guy who actually announced on the radio when he got laid?"

"Yeah, I think he was," Logan said. "And didn't he show up naked to class one day?"

"Oh God, yeah!" Xander laughed. "I'd forgotten about that. I spent the whole day after hearing that shuddering every time I passed the art room."

"And I heard he tried to get Callisto to strip for him," Logan said. "Could be our guy." He raised his eyebrows at Xander.

"Did he have better luck at stripping Callisto than you did?" Xander asked. "Since he didn't try it in my bed, I sadly have to learn about these things secondhand."

Logan rolled his eyes. "Nothing happened, dude. It was entirely --" he waved his hands around and realized he was making a groping motion. He dropped his hands onto the desk. "accidental."

"You were trying to put her clothes back on her, and got stuck?" Xander suggested, smirking.

Logan threw up his hands. "No clothing was removed!" Logan said, a little louder than intended.

"No clothing was removed from whom?" Rory asked, turning her attention back from Bridge. Her expression quickly flickered from worry to annoyance.
