Investigator's Club, the Library -- NFB

After kicking out everyone who wasn't a library aide, a Librarian, or incipient club member, Parker hung a sign on the outside door:

INVESTIGATOR'S CLUB MEETING
PRIVATE

Then adjourned to the counter, where the brownies, drinks, cookies, and fudge were.

Hopefully, more than just Marty, Zero, Janet and the Souled Wonder were going to show.

Logan tapped his index fingers together. "There's one teacher," he said. "that brought me rum in the clinic. You know Coach Ash?"

"He's one of the DJ's, right?"Xander snickered. "Isn't he the guy who actually announced on the radio when he got laid?"

"Yeah, I think he was," Logan said. "And didn't he show up naked to class one day?"

"Oh God, yeah!" Xander laughed. "I'd forgotten about that. I spent the whole day after hearing that shuddering every time I passed the art room."

"And I heard he tried to get Callisto to strip for him," Logan said. "Could be our guy." He raised his eyebrows at Xander.

"Did he have better luck at stripping Callisto than you did?" Xander asked. "Since he didn't try it in my bed, I sadly have to learn about these things secondhand."

Logan rolled his eyes. "Nothing happened, dude. It was entirely --" he waved his hands around and realized he was making a groping motion. He dropped his hands onto the desk. "accidental."

"You were trying to put her clothes back on her, and got stuck?" Xander suggested, smirking.

Logan threw up his hands. "No clothing was removed!" Logan said, a little louder than intended.

"No clothing was removed from whom?" Rory asked, turning her attention back from Bridge. Her expression quickly flickered from worry to annoyance.

"Anyone!" Logan said. "That's my point!" He gave Rory a sweet smile.

"Well, Callisto did steal Angel's shirt. But he wasn't in it at the time."

"Uh huh," Rory said skeptically. "Awful loud protestations of non-nudity, really." She crossed her arms and smiled at them.

"The thing with Callisto - I told you about that," Logan said. "Totally accidental and no nudity whatsoever."

"With the pictures?" Rory smirked. "Right. Okay. I remember that." She picked up a pencil and began tapping it against the desk distractedly.

Logan groaned and dropped his head on the desk.

"What now?" Rory asked exasperatedly.

Logan lifted his head and wrapped his arm around Rory, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Nothing," he said quietly. "Forgot there were pictures, that's all."

Rory sighed. "Didn't you destroy them, though? Because you ostensibly went to get the camera to get pictures of me, in the first place. And I still argue that you really, really don't need those pictures of me."

Xander coughed. "There were pictures of you on Angelus' camera?"

Rory rolled her eyes. "Leather fashion show. He took the pictures because a certain someone," she glanced at Logan, "was out of town and needed photographic evidence of me in leather pants for some reason."

"Still waiting for the live show," Logan reminded her.

"Have you ever asked for the live show?" Rory asked reasonably.

"Was kinda hoping you'd surprise me," Logan grinned.

Rory blushed, and glanced at Xander. "Busy now? After the meeting's over, I mean?" she asked in a low voice.
