The Library Salamander has decided his name is "Dante". This was decided by incinerating all the other options.

The librarian is working on paperwork today. Annoy at own risk.

Angel folded his book closed. His posture, which was never that great on the best of occasions, slumped a little more. "Wasn't trying to cause trouble for anybody. I can go."

"Oh," Angel sat back the way he was. "Okay. Thanks."

Having grabbed a couple of books, Elizabeth moved towards the tables. "Hey," she smiled at him. "It's Angel now, right?"

"Hey... Elizabeth, right?" Angel said. "Yeah, yeah. Just Angel now."

She nodded. "Yeah... I'll answer to Liz as well; just not Lizzie. Uh, how are you doing?"

"Liz," Angel repeated, to show that he got it. He sat forward, folding his bandaged left hand under his right. "Going okay, I guess. Not sure how well it should go, all things considered. But I'm trying."

Elizabeth half-smiled at him. "Trying's always good, if you ask me. Especially in this sort of situation, I guess."

She grins, and holds up the books. "Mind if I sit with you?

Parker nods to Elizabeth when she comes in, glares at Angel, and stomps over to the counter.

Elizabeth nods back at Parker, and plans to head across to the counter to see her in a bit.

"No, not at all," Angel shifted his books aside to make room. "Hey, um, you're friends with John, right? Crichton? We were planning a thing tonight, if you wanted to go."

"Thanks," Elizabeth replied with a smile. "Yeah, he's next door to me. What's happening?"

"We were going to go to Caritas," Angel said. "Celebrate my official room change. I'm next door to you now too."

"I'll try and see if I can make it," Elizabeth promised. "How did you end up sharing with John?"

"Luck," Angel admitted. "He was nice enough to, well, take me in. Then he was nice enough to offer to make it official when I didn't want to go back to my old room."

Elizabeth nodded. "John's a good guy," she said. "The second floor can be pretty insane at the best of times, but it'll mean that you'll never be bored." She laughed.

Parker slowed down on her way in to the library, and glared at Angel hard enough to freeze lighter fluid.

She stomped over to the counter from there, and sat, continuing to glare as she waited for patrons to ask for help.

Angel glanced at Parker, then continued to try to be as unobtrusive as possible.

After talking to Lee and Zero, Parker can't resist any longer. She stalks over to Angel's table, arms folded and eyes narrowed.

"Wings. Why are you here?"

Angel looked up at her. "I like libraries."

"You can't study in study hall? You *have* to do it here?" She taps her foot. "Rory comes in here sometimes. Maybe you would be more comfortable elsewhere."

"I don't like Study Hall," Angel said. "And I won't be anywhere near Rory. Look if it's a big deal I'll go. I was just looking for some quiet is all."
