Open Sociology Lab : 11/22
Grissom opens the lab, still exceedingly chipper. He opens the shades and then pulls a boom box out of his bottom desk drawer, and cranks up Houses of the Holy.
He then drags two card tables out at the front of the class room.
One has a display on calculating time of death with blowfly and fleshfly development data.
One has two pies, Pumpkin and Cherry, that he, no shit, baked himself.
Pie, bugs, and Led Zeppelin. He's a happy, happy man.
[OOC: Come stop by! Bug him about anything. I am primed to write some bizarre scientific explanations for unusual phenomena today. What? I had a half day at work, and Passions starts in 20 minutes. *heh*]

Does not girlishly giggle."Sara, hi," he smiles and stands up, ushering her in with a gesture. "You can have all the pie you want."
He begins to cut her a slice.

She's his cherry pie--oh, I'm going to hell for that.*She accepts the plate with a smile of thanks.* Going anywhere over the break?

Hey, I'm rocking out to Zeppelin, not Warrant. *smirk*"No, I'm afraid. My mother has a boyfriend, apparently, and is spending the holiday with his family. I was invited, but... I'll see her at Christmas. And you?"

Nothing but the rattle of the office heater. Woe.*She shakes her head.* My brother does his own thing--we were never big on holidays in my family.

"Would you like to come over for dinner? I was going to make myself a steak and call it a day, but if you wanted to have a real meal..."

"Do you watch football?"

"I understand you are to be called Angel now."

"Let me be very clear, if it were in my hands, not only would you not be allowed back into my class, you'd be incarcerated and awaiting trial. That being said, you will be allowed back into class with several caveats. Your absence last week is unexcused. Another, and you will be removed from the class with a failing grade. You will be expected to complete all your coursework on time. Your previous marks stand. If you have an issue with your standing at any time, I expect you to approach me first. Do we have an understanding, Angel?"

"I am not foolish enough to threaten you, either physically or academically. But you have had your supposed second chance with me already, and you failed. I will treat you with the minimum amount of respect that is required. If I could toss you out on the street, I would do so, and to be frank, I would have immediately resigned my position upon hearing I was required to allow you back into class, if not for the fact I have grown to care about my other students and subsequently their safety. Make no mistake, if it is revealed you have been once again manipulating this situation for your own benefit, or even if your story about your soul is true and you somehow lose it again, I will join those who wish to eliminate you from this campus, in one way or another, without a second thought."
He paused, and his tight expression turned into a frown. "Do you have anything you'd like to add?"

"I - uh - don't know Bris - Dean Bristow's requirements," Angel said, "but if you're not comfortable with me around my classmates I could maybe ask him if there's another way I could fulfill my requirements for the class. Something that would be better for you."
