Journalism Class - Tuesday November 22
Krycek is at Jerusalem's desk again, though he's rather more focused than he was Monday. He seems to be busy on a personal task, but still watching the classroom.
At the bottom, he's added:
Please choose one assignment for the day (or do both to earn extra credit):
Write 125 words exactly on what you hoped to learn from this class and whether or not this has been acheived. Spider respects honesty and likes it when people hate him, so don't be afraid to say what you really feel.

Vacation is coming up. Homework looms. Write 100 words on how grateful you are that there's no journalism homework this weekend.
At the bottom, he's added:
I will not be fielding questions about the class over the break. Please see me today if there is anything you need.

There is no journalism homework. It’s hard to explain how I feel about that. But, I shall try. I am eternally, exceptionally, undeniably so very thankful that I can be free and clear of journalism homework over this break.
My brain thanks you, my fingers thank you, my sanity thanks you, and I thank you. Sometime in the near future, I will build a shrine to those who made this no homework long weekend possible.
If having no homework was an ice cream flavor, it would definitely be rocky road ice cream because rocky road makes me happy and bouncy.

The moment he said it, he knew it was a mistake, letting Jake know it might be necessary to do both. He seemed to be doing that too often lately. Krycek was glad to have people he cared about, but damn if it didn't make it difficult to sneak around.

He stared at the computer screen, still showing what he'd been looking at: a map of Virginia, highlighted along the path to DC.

I am thankful to not have Journalism homework this weekend for many reasons. First, I have had an extremely stressful week, and homework would add to it. Second, I'm traveling to visit my family over Thanksgiving. As my parents are recently separated, I have a large family, and I am bringing my boyfriend, I don't expect to have much time over the break for schoolwork.
I am also grateful because this gives me more time to think about my final project, which I have not yet started on. Applause to Mr. Jerusalem and his assistants for giving us this break!

When I joined this class, I hoped to learn how not to flunk out of it so I wouldn't get booted out of Fandom High and have to go home where there's a reasonable chance of getting eaten by the giant snake that I hear is still slithering around the outskirts of town looking for really stupid locals to eat. (This being Sunnydale, California, I don't think I need to explain why he hasn't starved to death yet.) I've learned that the way to accomplish this is to actually show up for class, stay awake while the teacher talks and... bear with me here, because I know it's shocking... do the homework. Take a moment, if you need to; I know I did. Who KNEW?

I’m not going home for the holidays because I was just home, but it will be nice to relax on campus and hang out with some of my friends. I am also planning to look for a part time job.
The holidays are a good time for relaxation and rest and after the holiday break, I look forward to getting back in to the swing of things with classes and the newspaper.

I am grateful that there is no Journalism homework this weekend because I have other things to do at home and would rather not be bothered with a petty thing like homework. I am also grateful about this because vacation, or so I am told, is a time for family and friends rather than a time for school. As a matter of fact, to have a break from school is the main point of the self explanatory phrase “school vacation.” Finally, I am grateful for this reprieve because according to quaint archaic customs, Thanksgiving is a time to be grateful.

After about a half of an hour Jack places a piece of paper on the desk with one hundred words on his intense dislike of homework and his immanse haoppiness that there is none.
