Methos is in a good mood again. There might well be whistling.

The salamander is not whistling. Methos occasionally addresses it by some of the suggested names, but so far it has not responded to any of them.

ETA: Shoved out by Janet, Methos pastes a sign on the door: Now accepting applications for library assistants.

Jake wanders in, looking around cautiously like he's expecting the books to attack him any second. "Parker? Are you here?"

Parker turns around from where she's scowling at a scowling-back Zero, and pauses. "Gavin? Yeah. Can I help you with something?"

"Was hoping so, yeah." Jake nods. He shrugs his backpack off, and pulls his sketchbook out. "I'm doing a project for Art class, and I was hoping you might agree to pose for me."

Parker blinks, then looks suspicious. "What *kind* of posing are we talking about here? And what kind of project? I'm not rolling around in paint or anything weird."

Jake snorts, then shakes his head. "No, nothing like that. Just plain posing. With guns. But, you know." He waves his hand. "Nomal, like. Look, here's my sketches of Callisto..." He holds the sketchbook out for her to see.

Parker pages through the sketchbook, and shakes her head. "Wow. You've got talent, Gavin. I like the one of her with a dragon the best... although these others, just the studies of her back, are really impressive." She smirks. "So you want to draw me posing with guns, hunh? Why me?"

"Thanks," Jake grins. He gives her a faintly surprised look. "Because you're stunning and look good with a gun, of course."

Parker blinks, then laughs. "Hunh. You know, very few people are that direct about people's looks, Gavin. Especially to me." She looks at the sketches again, and says, "Oh, why the hell not? As long as I can get a copy of one of them for myself."

"Sure thing," Jake beams at her, then shrugs. "Hey, you are. And thanks. I'll call you and set up a time for the posing later? Might need a couple of hours."

"That'll work. Anything I should bring? Aside from my guns?" she adds dryly.
