Methos is in a good mood again. There might well be whistling.

The salamander is not whistling. Methos occasionally addresses it by some of the suggested names, but so far it has not responded to any of them.

ETA: Shoved out by Janet, Methos pastes a sign on the door: Now accepting applications for library assistants.

Parker scratches Zero's tummy, and laughs. "This is going to be very odd when you're human again."

She looks at Angela's application, then grins. "Want help on #3? The rest of it looks like you were reading our minds."

Mmrrrr.

Angela grins. "Thanks. I was telling Janet earlier that working for Gordon might have prepared me for this place."

"And yeah -- I'm guessing it's either "no weapons" or "no mobile phones," but I'm not sure which one Mr. Pierson cares about more. Want to hint? I think I have --" She rummages in her backpack, eventually producing a purple Girl Scout cookie box "-- about half a box of Crichton's samoas left, if they work as a bribe."

"Hell yes." Parker takes a Samoa happily. "Crichton got me Thin Mints! I think he's anticipating some mischief, and is looking for accomplices. Either that, or he's going to crank-call me again the first chance he gets. Boy's not stupid, even if he can drive me up a wall."

"Close. But not quite." Parker taps her finger next to Section 1, Rule #3. (http://www.livejournal.com/community/fandomhigh/14729.html) "Dr. Pierson's usually pretty easy-going, but I think he likes the escape clause of this rule just in case he gets pissed off."

"Oh," Angela says, tiliting her head to read the rule. "Yeah, I can see where murder would be worse than weapons. The weapons and cell phone bans just seemed more applicable, y'know?"

She grabs a cookie and takes a bite herself. "I have no idea what Crichton is planning, other than mugging little girls for their cookies."

"True, but that's in case people don't listen to us about the weapons and cell phones." Parker blinks. "Okay, now I have a *bad* image of Crichton as the Cookie Monster. Cut it out."

She looks down at the application, and casually asks, "How is Gordon, these days, anyway?"

Angela shrugs. "He really isn't around that much when I'm there," she says. "I guess he's fine."

[OOC: I haven't actually talked to the player about Rob since he was put up for adoption -- I just keep Ange working at the record store because it gives me a break form the game most Friday nights.]

"Good to know." Parker dismisses thoughts of Rob, and grins. "I should just add? Dr. Pierson will hire who we tell him to, application or no application. So you're in, if you can handle the weirdness."

<sub<[ooc: eh, no worries. thought she'd ask.]

"Handling the weirdness has been the biggest thing I learned this semester," Angela says. "Thanks for putting in a good word for me."

She glances over at the napping Min, and a cloud passes over herface. "I should go up to my room and get ready for later. When are we meeting, anyhow?"

"Sure. And... I'm guessing around six or so. To walk over to Mr. Phale's." Parker taps her fingers on the counter. "Is Professor Maclay still okay with our project?"

"I haven't heard from her since yesterday. I think she is," Angela says, pensive. "If not ..." she shakes her head, obviously not wanting to think about it.

"Six sounds good to me. Call me if you run into problems."
